The course behind your race
Hawana Salalah and the road towards Mirbat form the picture of this October 2026 half. The bike calls for steady power even if the coastal wind changes. The run is a full 21.1 km effort, whatever an incomplete course file appears to show.

Salalah–Mirbat coast, opening bike
The coastal highway toward Murbatt is exposed to wind in both directions. Hold a steady effort rather than pushing the outbound leg.
Cap opening effort. Fuel early.
Coastal cycling return, course pending
Finish planned nutrition on the return leg before the three-loop run.
Stay patient. Finish planned nutrition.
Hawana Salalah resort, run opening
Let the first loop around Hawana Salalah feel easy, not fast.
Easy first aid station. Check posture.
Marina-side run, middle stage pending
Repeat the first loop's effort rather than letting it drift.
Stay tall. Keep fuelling.
Hawana Salalah run finish, course pending
Only progress on the final loop once the first two have held together.
Choose the last move late.
Check the actual 2026 swim, bike and run maps, especially the half-marathon laps and aid. One route file covers only about 7.2 km and cannot be used as the entire run. Confirm the Hawana entry and transition, Mirbat turns, water rules and coastal conditions before assigning split points.

Prepare for Salalah
A finish range gives you something to work towards. The preparation is specific to this race: open-water composure, coastal-wind tolerance and a nutrition plan that survives a changed run map are practised ahead of the event.
I’m Tom. With Sense Endurance Coaching, I’ll build that preparation around your life, follow how you respond and adjust the work as you get closer to Salalah.
